A: Sure, if you have no way to access your email at the moment, you can leave us a voice message on our customer hotline at 704.412.8933. If you do this, please state a valid email address for us to contact you and spell it for us (we will not call back customers except in extreme cases). Please keep in mind that email is our preferred method of communication and if you email us at email@example.com, we promise to be polite, clear, and thorough in our communication. That is all.

A: crotchgear proudly uses high quality sweatpants, and trust us: they're super comfy! Our sweats are light and flexible and if you expand/shrink over time, the sweats will move with you! The pockets are deep and will give your phone, wallet, keys, and mp3 player comfortable transportation. Our sweats are great for lounging around the house or heading out for the day. We have partnered with Hanes brand underwear to deliver the comfiest boxer shorts possible (in addition to the funniest boxer shorts possible). The boxer shorts are made from woven cotton and are breathable. They come with a wide ribbed elastic waistband for a smooth and non-bending fit. How should I decide what size sweatpants to order? Top
A: Our sweatpants are cotton, so inherently they will shrink some. If you're worried about shrinking, order a size larger than you would normally order your pants. Most of our sizes run from M-XXL at this time; however, should interest dictate offering larger sizes, we will add them. How much will shipping cost? Top
A: Shipping costs are a function of two factors: your distance from us and the number (and types) of products in your order. We are located in North Carolina, USA, so orders on the West Coast of North America will cost slightly more to ship than more localized orders. Our sweatpants are made of 9.5 oz cotton and it isn't uncommon for it to cost us up to $10 to ship one pair somewhere in the US. Our underwear is much lighter and smaller than our sweatpants and as a result, we can send multiple pairs of the underwear for the same rate as one pair of sweatpants. How long will it take to get my gear? Top
A: Shipping distance from North Carolina (where we're located) will impact the time it takes for your order to arrive. Under most circumstances, it's safe to say your order will take 10-14 business days to arrive from the time you place your order (however, don't be surprised if your package shows up much sooner). Also, we utilize the US Postal Service and once we ship your order, they'll send out an automated e-mail with your shipment's tracking information included. If you haven't received this notification, your order has most likely not shipped out yet. If you have, please use the USPS tracking service to locate your order mid-route. Also, please keep in mind that West Coast orders take longer to receive than East Coast orders. It is our aim to always stay well stocked with all of our products. However, if we are back-ordered on a product, we'll contact you when you order to inform you of expected delivery time.
I notice you offer an expected delivery time of 10-14 business days on all orders, but I NEED my product sooner. Can you overnight ship it? Top
A: Here is our fair warning: we cannot expedite overnight shipping on any orders; therefore, make sure you do not wait a few days before any major holiday or event to order from us. In the case of holidays, we normally post "order by this date to receive it in time" announcements throughout our site, mailing list, and crotchblog™; given that we want to cater to as many customers as possible, we always push hard to make sure as many customers get their orders before the holidays as possible. One day, we may add an overnight shipping option, but it just is not feasible for our company to do this at our current size and volume. Thanks for understanding.

Shucks, I'm having ordering issues...
My credit card was rejected by Paypal. What's up? Top
A: This is more than likely due to your credit card being previously registered to a Paypal account. It's possible that either you signed up for the account with the card and never made a purchase or a friend or family member signed up for an account using your card. If you determine this to be the case, you'll either need to log-in using the Paypal account or use another credit card. If you don't think this is the issue, take a screen shot of the error message and send it our way (firstname.lastname@example.org). We'll look into the situation and try to resolve it ASAP. Remember, we want to help you buy our products!
I live in Canada/Mexico and noticed that shipping charges to Canada/Mexico seem a bit high. Why so? Top
A: We have raised the cost of shipping on all orders, regardless of product design, that ship outside of the US. We hope that the price increase will not deter anyone from purchasing our products in Canada or Mexico, however the additional production effort to ship outside the US reduces our efficiency at shipping orders within the US. To offset that extra time and effort (as well as the general higher cost of shipping outside the US), a $15 "handling fee" has been added to all orders to Canada or Mexico.
I ordered not too long ago...
Well, more like a week ago, and I never received an order confirmation? Golly, is this a scam? Top
A: The number one reason why you may not have received an order confirmation from us: you made a typographical error on your email address when you ordered and didn't realize it. After each order, our storefront server automatically generates an order confirmation and instantly sends it to the customer's email address supplied in the order. When a typo is made on an email address, it usually results in the order confirmation being sent to an email address that does not exist and therefore "bounces". When this happens, we get an email with a "bounce" notification that says "we could not send the order confirmation to JennHottie41220@hotmail.com." Now, since this customer's email address could be 'JennHottie41221', 'JennHottie41222', or any other combination of letters and numbers for that matter, we wait until they contact us via email to send them their confirmation. So, long story short, if you have not received your order confirmation, contact us at email@example.com and we will send it to you.
And I accidentally gave y'all the wrong address. Is it too late to fix it? Top
A: That will depend. If you made any mistake during ordering including (but not limited to): wrong size, wrong name, wrong address, etc., please contact us ASAP so that we can try to correct the error before shipping out your order. We will not be held liable for any careless mistakes made by the customer that lead to order delays and reshipping fees.
I need a refund from you guys. Can you mail it to me in the physical form of a check, cash, money order, etc.? Top
A: The short answer: no. The long answer: because we are an online business that handles most of its transactions over the internet, most of our funds are held online. To keep our overhead costs minimal, we only offer refunds through PayPal or Google Checkout at this time. The upside to doing it this way is that your refund will show up WAY QUICKER than if we send you the funds in physical form. Although your refund wont show up immediately, it will show up on your next billing cycle statement. Thanks for understanding.

A: Typically, all crotchgear products should be turned inside-out before washing. This method is the most effective at protecting against design fading. In addition, wash with cold water to provide maximum protection against shrinking.

A: We are interested in your ideas! If you have a sweet crotchgear design in mind that you think would make a great addition to our product line, feel free to share it with us. If we decide to market your design, we'll send you a free pair of sweats with your design and pay you $50! The more ideas you submit, the more likely we'll selected one of your ideas. If you only have an idea for a design, that's cool too! Send us the design idea and if we end up turning it into a product, we'll pay you $10 and send you a pair of the sweats!
You guys are so cool that it inspired me to start my own business. I was wondering if I could borrow some of your design ideas to get a "head start" on the success track? Top
A: First off, congrats on starting your new business, buddy! Glad we could inspire you.
With that said, PLEASE, don't even THINK about copying one of our designs for use in your shop without the express permission of crotchgear. Honestly, permission will not come easy from us and we will deny roughly 99.9% of requests to use or closely imitate any of our designs. All of our designs are protected by copyright before we even put them up for sale and we have good lawyer support, so trying us won't be wise!
Side Note: for all of our "Sherlock Holmes" out there, if you happen to notice any products out on the streets or internet that closely resemble our products (in design) and you are the first to notify us about it, we will take up to $10 off your next order. I'm looking to get my Christmas shopping done early and the person/people receiving the product will likely receive them outside of the 30 day return/exchange policy. What should I do if I order them a size that does not fit? Top
Point noted! Our response: if you order anytime from us in the November or December months, we'll extend the returns/exchanges deadline to you through January 15th (to not only give time to buy gifts early, but also get them back from friends/family). Make sure to read, understand, and agree to our return/exchange policies before ordering.
